William (Bill) Roderick joined the Lake County Office of Education as Senior Director of Student Services, beginning July 1, 2020. Roderick and his family are proud members of our community. His wife, Shaun Roderick, is the assistant principal of Clear Lake High School and their two daughters are graduates of Middletown High School.

Cynthia Lenners, Lake County Deputy Superintendent of Schools says, “We are really excited to have Bill join us. He has a great passion for the students of our community and will be a real asset to the Lake County Office of Education.”

Roderick’s 16 years of experience in administration includes the last 12 here in Lake County as the principal of Middletown High School. He says “I will miss the relationships I formed with the staff and community, but I am eager and excited about the new challenges ahead.”

As the Senior Director of Student Services, Roderick’s responsibilities will include working alongside the following programs that provide support to our Lake County students and their families:

  • Lake County Quality County (LCQC)
  • Hance Community School

As a teacher and administrator, Roderick has spent his career supporting students and encouraging them to reach their goals. He says, “I am most proud of the commitment I have made to the underserved populations, advocating for students who do not feel like their voice is heard, and supporting their path toward a successful post-high school career.”

Brock Falkenberg, Lake County Superintendent of Schools says, “Bill is fantastic. We are very excited to have him as part of our LCOE team.”
