The Lake County Office of Education offers Medical Training Programs that are local, fast, affordable, and hands-on.

Programs Offered

Visit the Medical Assistant Page Our Medical Assistant (MA) program prepares students to work alongside doctors and nurses in medical clinics. This fast-paced program is nine months long, with weekday classes and hands-on clinical externship experiences in medical clinics throughout Lake county. It is based in Lakeport.
Visit the Certified Nursing Assistant Page Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program prepares students to work in skilled nursing facilities and hospitals. This hands-on program includes classroom instruction and clinical experience working with patients at Rocky Point Care Center. This three-month program is designed for working adults, with night and weekend classes. It is offered twice each year in Lakeport.
