Social Emotional Learning
The Lake County Office of Education's Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) CalHOPE program is excited to announce the 2024 Mini-Grant Program.
Social Emotional Learning is the process in which young people and adults acquire the knowledge skills and attitudes that help us:
- Understand ourselves
- Connect with others
- Achieve our goals
- Support our communities
This application is open to Lake County public schools or classrooms, as well as CSPP State Preschool programs to assist in bringing SEL resources, tools, training, and more to students.
This will help educational staff implement creative ideas and meet the needs of our schools and classrooms.
The award amount will be determined by the number of applicants.
Each application must choose which of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) framework competencies their project addresses.
List of CASEL Framework core competencies:
- Self Awareness
- Self Management
- Social Awareness
- Relationship Skills
- Responsible Decision Making
The deadline to submit applications was September 27, 2024.
