CEUs for Teachers

If you are an educator and attended a Lake County Office of Education sponsored professional development, you may be eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEU). These units are free for all educators.

Our Educational Services department will update and maintain a CEU transcript for all educators who earn units through this program. These units will be valid in Lake County public school districts only.  Obtaining units can help educators step up on the salary schedule. 

To obtain units, educators must:

• Attend 12 hours of LCOE sponsored professional development for one CEU
• CEUs can also be obtained by doing the professional development project
• Educators must attend professional development during non-paid hours
