Mira Porsley

Ms. Mira Porsley is a dedicated educator from Lake County and a proud graduate of Lower Lake High School.

She began her career as a classified employee before returning to school to pursue her passion for teaching, ultimately stepping into the classroom as a middle school math and science teacher.

Ms. Porsley understands how to connect with middle school students, creating lessons that are both engaging and meaningful while maintaining high expectations for every learner.

She serves as a powerful example to her students, showing them that you can grow up in Lake County and achieve your goals through hard work and determination.

Ms. Porsley meets students where they are, balancing fun, engaging instruction with a strong commitment to academic growth and accountability.

Beyond the classroom, she gives generously of her time, serving as the yearbook advisor and regularly volunteering to chaperone school events, such as dances.

She also provides after-school tutoring on a voluntary basis, helping students stay on track and build confidence in their learning.

Ms. Porsley creates a safe and supportive environment where students feel seen and valued, often noticing when someone is having a difficult day.
