Andrea Pullman

    Andrea Pullman has supported Burns Valley in making consistent academic growth in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math on the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) over her four years working as the Instructional Coach.

    She is a mentor to all new coaches coming into the role throughout the Konocti Unified School District. 

    Pullman is a leader who is always willing to jump in where necessary. She is always willing to speak up for what is right for students and staff. She does not shy away from a challenge and works hard to meet her professional goals.

    Pullman has had an impact on every student that has been enrolled at Burns Valley School.

    She started her journey as a fourth grade teacher, and now supports all grade levels in becoming more effective in their teaching practices. She works to support teachers in creating lessons and is affectionately known as “The Data Queen”.

    Pullman is constantly working to make sure decisions that impact students are made based on the students specific data and desired outcomes. She has a significant impact on students though her consistent and passionate approach to supporting teachers.

    Pullman is constantly striving to help teachers be their best. She works to build lasting relationships with staff which help her push them to their best teaching practices. She is very well respected by her colleagues both on site and throughout the district.

    As her administrator I can easily say, she is one of the main reasons my school continues to thrive.
