Learning Pod Levels

  • Each pod is no more than six children with one designated adult per child. Each pod has designated socialization days, allowing children to interact and play. 

    Infant Pod (0 - 12 months old)

    Materials and guidance/support will be based around developmental appropriate infant activities, social skills and learning needs.

    Toddler Pod (1 - 3 years old)

    Materials and guidance/support will be based around developmental appropriate toddler activities, social skills and learning needs.

    Preschool Pod (3 - 5 years old)

    Materials and guidance/support will be based around developmental appropriate preschool activities, social skills and learning needs.

    Mixed Age Pod (0 - 5 years old)

    Materials and guidance/support will be uniquely designed to meet the needs of the group.
     

Check-in Meetings

  • The Pod Leader and the Lake County Quality Counts Coach will have check-in meetings to discuss activities The check-in meetings will be either by email or by phone. Check-in meetings can occur:

    • Weekly
    • Bi-Monthly
    • Monthly (Only available for pods that are not implementing activities)

    There is an optional pick up kit that will be available by the 5th of each month for the pods. These may include crafts, science, music, early math or seasonal activities.
