April -Child Abuse Prevention Month Events

  • The Lake County Children's Council, in partnership with numerous Lake County agencies and organizations, hope to celebrate April - Child Abuse Prevention Month with multiple events throughout our community. Given the current circumstances with COVID-19, we are not yet sure what we will be able or not able to do. Please check back regularly for updates.

When you think of "Child Abuse Prevention" we would like you to think about how your positive encounters with children in our community can help negate the effects of neglect or abuse that someone may be suffering. It's that easy. It only takes 1 positive connection to change a child's life.
