Early Learning Pods

  • The Lake County Child Care Planning Council offers help in creating Early Learning Pods

An Early Learning Pod is a playgroup of no more than six children and one designated adult per child where socialization days are set. This allows children to interact freely, play and potentially have learning days with focused curriculum.

Early learning opportunities play a critical part in children’s development. An Early Learning Pod will help children ages 0-5 learn social and emotional skills which have been found to be one of the most important Kindergarten Readiness skills a child can have.
