Clearlake Creativity School
The Clearlake Creativity School provides educational opportunities for students K-12, who have a current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and who have met the referral criteria for admission. The Clearlake Creativity School provides academic, behavioral and emotional support to students who attend this specialized program.
Ultimately, our vision for the Creativity School is for students to gain the skills they need to make positive, healthy choices and successfully return to their home school with a renewed love of learning. Our behavioral program is that of Diana Browning Wright, which has been implemented successfully for Lake County students.
The goal of our program is to work collaboratively with students, their families, and community agencies to provide a safe and supportive place for our students to experience success. We are dedicated to the relentless pursuit of whatever it takes to make a difference in the lives of our students and their families.

The Clearlake Creativity School welcomes public input at a meeting to be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. The purpose of this meeting is to review the School Safety Plan, prior to it being approved by the School Site Council. The meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the public to review and express opinions regarding the plan. No registration is necessary. The meeting will be held at 6945 Old Highway 53, Clearlake. A Zoom link to participate remotely will be emailed by request.
Due to the popularity of the 3 week ESY (Extended School Year) program that was held at the Clearlake Creativity School the past two years, CCS would like to apply to the California Department of Education for an additional waiver during the 2021 ESY program. This waiver modifies the traditional four week program during the summer to three weeks, while still maintaining a total of 80 hours that is required. The benefit of this is that it allows for more travel and vacation time for families because the program will end by July, rather than extending into the 4th of July holiday weekend. Please feel free to address any concerns regarding this waiver or proposed schedule change to Shelley Tan at the Clearlake Creativity School.
