The Lake County Office of Education supports 27 AmeriCorps members who provide Tier II tutoring and behavior interventions to pre K-12^th grade students in schools across Lake County. AmeriCorps members will be responsible for increasing literacy proficiency, improving attendance rates, provide structured recess activities and decreasing office disciplinary referrals, as well as preparing preschool students for kindergarten. In addition, AmeriCorps members will leverage volunteers who will be engaged in community and national days of service events. The Lake County AmeriCorps Program has one position, AmeriCorps Student Success Coaches Members.
