Policy & Administration: Brock Falkenberg is the Senior Director of Human Resources/Student Programs and Services. His responsibilities include to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage classified and certificated personnel activities for LCOE. He also oversees ROP/CTE, Facilities, Compliance/Mandated Acts (Williams, QEIA), Alternative Education (Courts/Community Schools & Truancy) and Legal Services. Employee Assistance: Kandee Stolesen is the Administrative Assistant for Human Resources. Kandee is responsible for providing support to employees in all areas of Human Resources. Credentials: Janice C. Bailey (AKA Jan 1) has been with the Office of the Lake County Superintendent since 1980. She brings experience and expertise to her multiple roles of Office Manager, Credentials Analyst and Superintendent’s Secretary.  Jan maintains and updates records of all teacher, administrator, and specialist credentials for the entire County. If you have a question about a credential, need a form, or require assistance with a credential application, Jan is the “go to” person. Jan is also responsible for monitoring assignments for the eight districts we serve to ensure that teachers have the necessary authorizations for the service they provide. Fingerprinting (Livescan): Linda DeBolt is the Livescan Fingerprint Technician. She has primary responsibility for the Livescan Fingerprinting service we maintain by appointment, Mondays through Thursdays, 9:30 A.M.- 2:30 P.M.   If you need an appointment outside of this frame, please ask as we will try to accommodate you whenever possible. You can make an appointment by calling (707) 262-4127. Livescan is a service of the Superintendent’s Office that became available to the public February 1, 2002.

Payroll & Benefits: Melissa Reese is the Payroll & Benefits Specialist. Melissa processes benefits and payroll for approximately 140 full-time and regular part-time employees participating in the health and welfare benefits program as well as the approximately 100 part-time, timesheet employees which include: Workability Students, AmeriCorps Volunteers and Certificated and Classified substitutes. She can assist you with any question you may have about payroll, or the medical, dental, prescription, and vision plans offered by the County Superintendent.
