GED Testing Program

GED (General Education Development) testing is administered by the Lake County Office of Education. Tests are available in English and Spanish. A test fee is charged for the administration and scoring of the test. The test is comprised of 5 sections. Each section cost $40 or $200 when all 5 test are paid for in advance. To schedule appointments call 707/262-4167. Students MUST register and pay at least 10 working days in advance.

If you took the GED before 2001 and are looking for a transcript of your scores, please send $15 along with your name, birthdate, mailing address and the last year in which you completed any section of the test. You may either mail this information with payment to LCOE c/o CTE Department or visit our office at 1152 So. Main St., Lakeport, CA.

If you took the GED after 2001 and are looking for a transcript you must contact the state office at ETS-GED Records Center, PO Box 4005 Concord, CA 94524-4005 or by calling 866-370-4740.
