Taylor Public Event-History of Astronomy and the Telescope

March 17, 2012  8:00PM - 11:00PM  |  Taylor Observatory-Norton Planetarium 5725 Oak Hills Lane, Kelseyville, Ca. 95451

Lake County's Window to the Universe is held on the third Saturday of each month. The evening's event includes a Science Topic presentation, a Full Dome Theater experience and Astronomical viewing.

Join us as Taylor Staff member, John Zimmerman, takes us on a Journey from Stonehenge to Hubble.  Enjoy our Full Dome movie, “Two Small Pieces of Glass”. While attending a local star party, two teenagers learn how the telescope has helped us understand our place in space and how telescopes continue to expand our understanding of the Universe.

Public events are held regardless of weather. Suggested donation $3 per person. For more information visit www.taylorobservatory.org or call 707-262-4121
