Beneath the black starry night skies, at the foot of Mount Konocti, lies Taylor Observatory. In continuous operation since 1980, thousands of families have enjoyed the views through the facility's telescopes and entertained by shows in the Norton Planetarium.
Lake County's Window to the Universe, public event, is held on the third Saturday of each month. Join Taylor staff, Stephen Kane, as he discusses the Current Space Missions, including the Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity. Enjoy the Planetarium experience and night sky viewing.
