CalPERS Retirement Class (LCOE)

March 30, 2012  2:00PM - 4:30PM  |  Lakeport - Kesey Room (parking and entrance in the back of the building) Same class being offered at Konocti - District Office, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Are you a Classified CalPERS Member planning to retire in the near future?  If so, you should attend a Planning Your Retirement class to learn about the retirement process, programs and benefits offered by the California Public Employees’ Retirement System. 

These are some topics you will learn:

  • What is CalPERS?
  • Retirement calculation
  • Benefit estimates
  • Retirement payment options
  • How to choose a retirement date
  • Health benefits

To attend, members can register at the CalPERS Website:  https://my.calpers.ca.gov/   (Members must have or create a User ID and Password to log into my|calpers.).  Then select:  My Education, Select a Class, scroll down and choose Planning Your Retirement.  Scroll down, there are 2 that note Lake County Schools, first one is LCOE location, second is Konocti Location.  Or you can contact Human Resources at 262-4151 to register.  Deadline to register is March 23rd. Classes will be held at Konocti Unified School District Office in Lower Lake 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the Lake County Office of Education in Lakeport 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Enroll in which location you prefer.         Enroll  Questions - please contact LCOE Human Resources at 262-4151.
